The female powerhouses of Tennisgesellschaft Heimfeld (TGH) tackled a pair of away games in western Germany this weekend. These thrilling encounters took them to Bonn and Duisburg!
Saturday's showdown against Bonner THV delivered a thrilling 60-minute spectacle with abundant scoring opportunities for both sides. Sadly, the game ended in a nail-biting 0:0 draw 😨. It took a dramatic penalty shootout to decide the winner! Unfortunately, the home team triumphed 3:1. 💔
With spirits undeterred, TGH journeys onwards to Duisburg to face the downgraded 1.Bundesliga club, Raffelberg. Despite their best efforts, TGH couldn't secure any points and suffered a hefty 5:0 defeat 😞.
The male team of TGH also braced themselves for a hockey challenge against the Hamburger Mannschaft UHC 3 on Sunday. An exciting back-and-forth ultimately resulted in a 7:4 loss 😟.
For the guys, this was their last field game of the Hinrunde, with the hall season kicking off in November ❄. The gals, however, have another field match to conquer on October 19th, a fiery city derby against the Hamburger Polo Club, right here on TGH grounds 🏟️!
