Rachel Klamer, the fourth-place finisher at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, will lead the Witten women's team. She will be joined by other Dutch women, including Merel Veltman, Babette Rosman, and Bianca Bogen, a former national team athlete and mother of two who has returned to top form. Together, they finished second behind SSF Bonn Triathlon in the Kraichgau, providing a solid foundation for their title defense.
The Witten women are the reigning German team champions and are the clear favourites for the upcoming race. Lukas Meckel, a local talent, will also be part of the men's team for the race on Saturday. Maximilian Sperl is another member of the men's team, with Samuel Linsenmeier, known for his long-distance events, also competing.
A mid-table finish is a realistic goal for the men's team from PV Triathlon TG Witten in the upcoming race.
