Women's Competitors Announced for Red Bull Rampage 2025
Get ready for an adrenaline-fueled event as the 2025 Red Bull Rampage prepares to introduce a women's category. This year's competition promises to showcase some of the world's best female freeride mountain bikers.
Leading the pack is Hannah Bergemann, a renowned figure among the world's elite freeriders. Bergemann, along with 11 other invited athletes, will take on the challenging terrain of the Red Bull Rampage.
The invited women athletes for Red Bull Rampage 2025 are a diverse group of top freeride female athletes. They include pre-qualified riders and wildcards, with additional alternates, ensuring a competitive and exciting lineup.
The pre-qualified athletes for this year's event are Robin Goomes (NZL), Georgia Astle (CAN), Casey Brown (CAN), and Vaea Verbeeck (CAN). These riders have proven their skills and met the criteria for direct entry into the competition.
The wild card athletes, chosen for their exceptional riding abilities and video submissions, include Camila Nogueira (ARG), Chelsea Kimball (USA), CJ Selig (USA), Hannah Bergemann (USA), Harriet Burbidge-Smith (AUS), and Janelle Soukup (USA). Kirsten Van Horne (CAN) and Vinny Armstrong (NZL) round out the wild card selections.
In addition to the main invitees, alternates Dominique Ohaco (CHL), Gemma Corbera (SPA), Lucy Van Eestreen (CAN), Kaia Jensen (USA), and Sam Soriano (USA) are on standby, ready to step in should any unforeseen circumstances arise.
One athlete to watch is Harriet Burbidge-Smith, an Australian freerider known for her skills in hucking giant sets of stairs, dodging trees, and defying gravity on the trails.
The women's finals will take place on October 16, 2025, in Utah, ahead of the men's contest. This marks a significant step forward for women in extreme sports, providing a platform for these talented athletes to shine and inspire a new generation of freeride mountain bikers.
