The woman, who suffered injuries to her head, right eye, and right temple area, claimed that her health deteriorated due to the incident. However, the court, considering the degree of moral and physical suffering, specific circumstances, and requirements of reasonableness and fairness, ruled that her claims were justified. The court ordered the defendant to pay Br1,500 for moral damages and court fees totaling Br1,200.

The traffic organization in Los Angeles defended itself by stating that the bus doors were closed according to safety protocols at the time of the incident.
