Woltemade's transfer to Eberl is temporarily withdrawn, said to be off the agenda. - Woltemade's transfer negotiations with Eberl are currently halted.

In a recent turn of events, it has been confirmed that Nick Woltemade will not be transferring from VfB Stuttgart to FC Bayern Munich before September 1st, 2025.

The decision comes after Bayern Munich's sporting director, Max Eberl, temporarily halted plans to sign the 23-year-old striker. This decision was made in light of VfB Stuttgart's firm stance against selling Woltemade this summer. The club officials have emphasized that Woltemade is a key player for their upcoming season and they have no need to sell him.

Despite a reported offer of €55 million, Stuttgart rejected Bayern's bid as it fell short of their valuation, which is around €80 million. Consequently, Bayern has ended their pursuit of Woltemade after failing to reach an agreement with Stuttgart.

Woltemade himself has expressed a desire to join FC Bayern, having been the top scorer at the recent U21 Euros. However, Stuttgart remains confident and firm in holding onto their star player for now.

Max Eberl, in a statement made after Bayern's 4-0 friendly win over Tottenham Hotspur, expressed that there's always some movement regarding potential transfers. He also mentioned that Bayern currently has a squad in place and they will see what happens regarding the potential transfer of Woltemade.

The transfer window still has almost four weeks left, and Eberl hasn't completely ruled out signing Woltemade. However, the barrier for making new transfers appears to be higher after the game against Tottenham.

The game against Tottenham was played in Munich, with Bayern currently in the driving seat for the potential transfer of Nick Woltemade. Yet, for now, the transfer remains uncertain.
