Wolfenbüttel's First Vinyl Record Store Opens This Saturday After Yearlong Delay

Wolfenbüttel will soon have its first dedicated vinyl record store in years. Ron's Record Corner, run by Ron Fiedler, opens this Saturday at 11 AM in Löwenstraße. The shop fills a gap in the area, as no other stores currently specialise in vinyl records.

The store was originally meant to open a year ago, but delays pushed back the launch. Fiedler has spent months renovating the space since October 2024, even building some of the furniture himself. The shop now occupies the former premises of Blumen Marcus.

Customers can expect a broad selection of vinyl from different eras and genres. A listening station will let them preview records before buying. The store will also purchase collections from those looking to sell their own vinyl. Fiedler has plans to keep expanding the inventory and adding decor to create a welcoming atmosphere. Once open, the shop will operate from Tuesday to Friday, 12 PM to 6 PM, and on Saturdays from 11 AM to 3 PM. The motto, *'Better late than never,'* reflects both the delayed opening and the enduring appeal of vinyl.

Ron's Record Corner becomes the only store of its kind in Wolfenbüttel. It offers a place for music lovers to browse, buy, and sell records. The grand opening marks the start of regular trading hours and future growth for the business.
