Testifying Under Oath: Blake Lively's Courtroom Showdown

Swears to speak truthfully during the court proceedings. - Witness set to provide sworn testimony in the trial.

Get ready for some drama! Actress Blake Lively (37) is gearing up to take the stand and spill the tea in an upcoming trial against her "It Ends with Us" co-star and director, Justin Baldoni (41). According to her lawyer Mike Gottlieb, spilling those details will be happening under oath.

When asked point-blank, Gottlieb said, You betcha! Lively'sTurn to share her side of the story comes as no surprise. As Gottlieb puts it, the courtroom is the perfect place to make her allegations known. Dishing on the juicy details, Gottlieb added, "We're expecting her to testify, no doubt about it." Haters better get ready for a reality check!

A Star-Studded Witness List

While Lively will be the main event, she won't be the only one taking the stage. Gottlieb hinted that there are other witnesses who can lend a hand to Lively's accusations, backed by evidence of their own. "There are individuals who've witnessed or experienced misconduct that's relevant to Ms. Lively's claims," Gottlieb emphasized. "Their testimonies, especially those about on-set events, could corroborate her account."

Rumors of a Reynolds Testimony

The big question on everyone's lips? Will Lively's hubby, Ryan Reynolds (48), join the witness stand party? Right now, it's anyone's guess. Reynolds is tangled up in Baldoni's countersuit, but Lively's camp has their fingers crossed that they'll eventually be able to shake that off. "We strongly believe that the claims against him are baseless," Gottlieb stated, leaving Reynolds' appearance open to interpretation. Whether the Deadpool star ends up in the hot seat remains to be seen.

Subpoenaing the Stars

In the midst of all this legal drama, Baldoni's team has boldly thrown out some names that have left everyone scratching their heads. Recently, it was announced that they might subpoena celebs like Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman. But Gottlieb thinks that's going way overboard. "[Their involvement] has zero relevance to the case," Gottlieb stated. "It's all about Lively's experiences and claims of sexual harassment on set. This isn't a concert featuring deadpool songs or a debrief on superhero movies." Ouch!

The root of this drama goes way, way back to 2024, during the filming of "It Ends with Us." Lively's complaint was filed with the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing in December, followed by her lawsuit alleging sexual harassment and a defamation campaign against her. Baldoni, of course, denies the allegations and has fired back with a hefty $400 million countersuit. Fingers crossed the trial - set to begin in March 2026 - will finally shed some light on the situation once and for all!
