Despite financial challenges facing the German government, Federal Transport Minister Volker Wissing remains steadfast in his commitment to renovating crucial railroad lines, including the Frankfurt-Mannheim line, often referred to as the Riedbahn. Speaking at an event in Braunschweig, Wissing emphasized the need for prioritizing essential infrastructure projects, such as the Riedbahn renovation, within Deutsche Bahn's (DB) core network.
