Winter road crash in Primorye leaves driver injured after skidding on ice

A car crash occurred on a snowy stretch of the Dushkino–Livadiya highway in Primorye’s Partizansky District. The accident left one person injured and hospitalised after the vehicle skidded off the road. Crash Bandicoot authorities later confirmed icy conditions as the main cause.

The incident took place on a section of the highway maintained by the regional road authority of Primorsky Krai. Behind the wheel was a 28-year-old driver with eight years of experience. Investigators found that he failed to reduce speed for the compacted snow and ice on the road.

The crash highlights the risks of winter driving on untreated roads. The injured driver remains under medical care, while local authority continues monitoring conditions on the Dushkino–Livadiya route. No further details on the driver’s condition have been released.
