Popular singer and TV personality Pietro Lombardi (32) hinted at his wedding plans with girlfriend Laura Maria Rypa (29) in an Instagram Q&A, later confirming the news with German tabloid, Bild.
During an Instagram Q&A, a fan inquired whether the winner of "Germany's Got Talent" and his fiancée had their eyes set on a 2025 wedding. Lombardi replied cryptically, "Absolutely, y'all." Later, when pressed by Bild, Lombardi stated, "Yes, our wedding will indeed take place this year."
Moving from summer to winter
Lombardi further clarified that the wedding is indeed happening this year. Initially, they had planned a summer wedding. However, there are other factors at play. "We have a house renovation underway, and our little one needs to be baptized. It might be a winter wedding. We're still figuring it out," he told the newspaper.
For Lombardi, this will be his second marriage. He was married to fellow "DSDS" contestant Sarah Engels (32) from 2013 to 2019. They share a son, Alessio (9). Lombardi proposed to influencer Rypa in 2022, and they have two sons, Leano Romeo (2) and Amelio Elija (8 months).
Targeting the "Voice Kids" panel
In addition to his personal life, Lombardi is eyeing opportunities to advance his career. When asked if he would return to TV, the 32-year-old expressed strong interest in becoming a judge on "The Voice Kids." "Being a father of three myself and a lover of kids, I believe it would be a fantastic experience to transition from an adult judge (on 'DSDS', ed.) to a kids judge," he shared.
