Northwest bus line restricted due to snowdrifts - Winter Chaos in Northwest Mecklenburg as Snow Halts Buses and Schools

Heavy snow has disrupted transport across Northwest Mecklenburg. School buses will not operate on Friday, leaving students without their usual routes. Regular bus services are also facing delays and cancellations due to the winter weather.

The worst-hit route is line 16, run by Republic Services. Snowdrifts have blocked parts of the road between Hornstorf and Rohlstorf, forcing the service to run with restrictions. Passengers on this route should expect delays or alternative arrangements.

School buses across the region have been cancelled for Friday. The decision follows warnings about unsafe road conditions. Regular bus services are struggling too, with many routes either delayed or suspended until conditions improve.

The snow has caused widespread travel problems in Northwest Mecklenburg. Line 16 remains partially blocked, while school and local bus services stay off the roads. Authorities have advised passengers to check for updates before travelling.
