Chillin' in the Heat: June Weather Forecast for UAE's Eastern Regions

Gear up for the scorching summer as the eastern regions of UAE wait for the Eid Al Adha celebrations from June 5 to 8, 2025. It's gonna be a sweaty ride with temperatures averaging around 40°C during the day, and the humidity making it feel even hotter! The holiday weekend will see approximately 11 hours of blinding sunshine each day, with the chill factor only dropping to around 26°C at night.

With the solstice on June 21st, the sun will reach its highest point over the Tropic of Cancer at 23.37°N, marking the official start of summer. This astronomical event will trigger severe summer heat, with eastern regions witnessing increased cloud formation from Indian monsoon depressions, particularly in the afternoons this month.

Temperature Dance

June is all about the heat. Temperatures are expected to soar by 2 to 3°C compared to the previous month. Daytime highs will consistently hit 39.8 to 42.7°C, while nighttime temperatures offer scant relief between 26.8 to 29.4°C. And let's not forget, Al Yasat held the record for a blistering 52.0°C back in 2010, while Raknah saw an unusual 14.1°C minimum in 2004, showcasing the region's unpredictable climate microclimates.

Cloudy Days, Dusty Skies

The dominant Siberian high-pressure system weakens during June, paving the way for thermal low-pressure systems to influence local weather. These systems create opportunities for cloud formation over mountainous areas during the afternoon, which can sometimes lead to showers. Additionally, dusty skies are expected with visibility reduced due to blowing and suspended dust, especially over exposed areas.

Beating the Heat

Understanding these climate patterns will help you prepare for the intense heat, occasional afternoon cloud formation, and generally dry conditions with decreasing humidity as the summer progresses. Stay hydrated, avoid strenuous activity during peak sun hours, apply sunscreen, and wear protective clothing to beat the heat wisely.
