Miss Cartesian Tipped as Strong Bet for Upcoming Fillies' Handicap at Newbury

Miss Cartesian, a racehorse trained by Ralph Beckett, is gaining significant attention in the racing world as she prepares for the fillies' handicap at Newbury. The horse, frequently ridden by jockey Rossa Ryan, has been tipped as a strong bet in recent events and has received numerous expert endorsements.

On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, Miss Cartesian received nine "NAP" (best bet) votes, indicating strong confidence in her performance chances. Her odds, which are commonly around 11/8 or 5/4, reflect her strong position in her races.

Miss Cartesian's recent performances have been impressive, with a smooth win over an extra furlong at Newmarket last time, quickly making amends for a short-priced defeat at Yarmouth. Her opening mark suggests she is better than her current form, and she has been performing reliably in recent outings.

Other horses in the race include Ruff Justice, trained by Warren Greatrex, who is expected to not be far away despite going backwards after a bright start to her career. Ruff Justice has been improving with every run and is down in class for this race.

Maid In Chelsea, a horse recently picked up by trainer Eve Johnson Houghton, is also in the race. Johnson Houghton has stated that Maid In Chelsea goes very nicely, and there is rain around, which is hoped to benefit Maid In Chelsea as she needs a bit of cut in the ground.

Isabella Castile, another competitor in the race, has been in and out for Jack Channon. Saariselka, ridden by Kieran Shoemark, has run well in this grade in the past and can be forgiven for struggling in the Sandringham. Shoemark is hopeful of a big show from Saariselka.

One of Miss Cartesian's rivals in the race is British Blue, a horse that struggled in handicaps after winning on debut as a juvenile. Despite the competition, Miss Cartesian remains the odds-on favourite before her debut in the fillies' handicap at Newbury.

Miss Cartesian made her handicap debut at Wolverhampton last November, where she won her first race. With her consistent performances and strong expert backing, she is currently viewed as a promising horse in upcoming races.

Sporting enthusiasts should keep an eye on Miss Cartesian in the upcoming Fillies' Handicap at Newbury, as she has been consistently performing well and received numerous expert endorsements. Boasting nine "NAP" votes and relatively low odds, she is considered a strong bet in the race.
