Wildécker Heart Club Announces "HeidiFest" Performance as a Farewell Event

In an exciting turn of events, Schlager legends Wolfgang Schwalm (70) and Wilfried Gliem (78) are set to perform together one last time at Heidi Klum's Oktoberfest party on September 18, 2025. This marks the culmination of a remarkable career for the duo, who have officially dissolved the Wildecker Herzbuben.

Despite the dissolution, Gliem holds the rights to the Wildecker Herzbuben brand and has expressed his support for Schwalm's solo career. He has hinted at potential collaborative performances depending on health and scheduling, but no firm plans have been revealed as yet.

Schwalm, who will be focusing on his solo project as "Wolfgang, the Lone Heartthrob" from autumn, has a new record deal. His first single under this new identity, "Der Herzbube Wolfgang," is set to release on August 31, 2025.

Meanwhile, there is currently no public information about a potential new member joining the Wildecker Herzbuben after Schwalm's departure. Gliem has stated that there is a possibility of reforming the band with a new singer, but no details have been disclosed.

The "HeidiFest," announced by ProSieben as the ultimate pre-Oktoberfest party venue, will feature performances by a host of stars, including Jürgen Drews, Michelle, Eric Philippi, Peter Kraus, Thomas Anders, Roberto Blanco, and, of course, Wilfried Gliem, who will perform in a wheelchair as agreed in his contract.

Gliem, however, does not consider the Wildecker Herzbuben as truly over. He believes that the spirit of the band will live on, and their final performance at the "HeidiFest" will be a fitting tribute to their legacy.

The Hofbräuhaus in Munich will be transformed into a festival stage for this unforgettable event. So, get ready to dance and sing along as we bid farewell to one of the most iconic duos in Schlager music history. It's going to be a night to remember!
