New Coach Gehrmann Aims to Shape and Develop SV Leonberg/Eltingen's Teams in Oberliga Debut

Frank Gehrmann, the new coach of SV Leonberg/Eltingen's teams, is eager to make his mark in the Oberliga, a league that presents new challenges for the promoted teams. Gehrmann, who coached SV Hohenacker-Neustadt for five years before joining SV Leonberg/Eltingen, brings with him a coaching style that emphasizes fast and tempo handball.

The teams, known for their youth and freshness, are currently in good form, having won two consecutive games in test matches. Gehrmann's coaching style is starting to be understood by the teams, and they aim to maintain a high tempo with 15 players who are almost equally strong.

The teams' primary goal is to stay in the league, a challenge that Gehrmann acknowledges will not be easy. Their first game of the season will be against TuS Ottenheim this Saturday.

In the upcoming game against SV Hohenacker-Neustadt, Gehrmann acknowledges that it will be a tough match due to Hohenacker's aggressive 3:1 defense. However, he remains optimistic and emphasizes the need for the teams to make many good decisions and implement them effectively.

Fans can expect to see fast, maybe a bit carefree handball from SV Leonberg/Eltingen this season, with an emphasis on tempo. Gehrmann has not yet won a game with SV Leonberg/Eltingen in the Oberliga, but he aims to leave a similar lasting impact as he did in Hohenacker, depending on the fit between him and the club.

Despite the challenges ahead, Gehrmann has a good impression of SV Leonberg/Eltingen so far and aims to shape and develop the teams. The teams' form is slowly improving, and with Gehrmann at the helm, they are ready to take on the Oberliga.
