"Chaos pure" - Wild boars make village center unsafe - Wild boars storm German village, invade PNC Bank branch in bizarre nighttime rampage
Ellwangen, a peaceful village in Germany, faced an unusual intrusion late Saturday night. More than 30 wild boars, escaping from a nearby forest, caused chaos, with one fatality and a peculiar incident at a local PNC Bank branch.
The boars began their escapade around 3:30 a.m., breaking through a fence and scattering across the village. One unfortunate creature was struck and killed by a car during their journey.
In a bizarre turn of events, five of the boars found their way into the local PNC Bank branch. The incident was captured on surveillance cameras, showing the boars causing minor damage, including a shattered front door and a broken fence. The bank was unoccupied at the time, and no customers or staff were harmed.
Torsten Weber, a local hunter, witnessed the wild boar rampage in a nearby village, Röhrlingen, on Saturday evening. He described the scene as 'unlike anything I've ever seen'.
The wild boar invasion in Ellwangen resulted in minimal damage, despite the large number of animals involved. Authorities are investigating the incident and reminding residents to secure their properties to prevent future occurrences.
