Wife of "Ghost Adventures" star Aaron Goodwin apprehended on charges of allegedly plotting his homicide.
A Vegas-dwelling gal, Victoria Goodwin, wife of television ghost-hunter, Aaron Goodwin, found herself in hot water after cops nabbed her for a murderous scheme. Seems she was hatching a plot to off her better half, herself the prime suspect for "solicitation to commit murder" and "conspiracy to commit murder".
She was cuffed last Thursday, with authorities revealing a hefty $100,000 bail to secure her release. A preliminary hearing's set for March 25th, according to court records.
Delving deeper into the case, investigators claim that Victoria had been exchanging incriminating messages with an inmate in Florida, discussing a murder-for-hire plan. Text messages point to her soliciting a third party—on the inmate's behalf—to carry out the dastardly deed. Allegedly, she even agreed to hand over $2,500 as an initial payment.
According to the police report, Victoria was smitten by the inmate and felt her husband wouldn't accept a divorce. Text exchanges expose her thoughts of terminating Aaron's existence rather than parting ways.
However, post-arrest, Victoria confessed to having first connected with the inmate after discovering him in a true-crime documentary, later stepping up their communication via text messages. She denied wanting Aaron dead and expressed that her murderous daydreams had dissipated.
Victoria and Aaron have been a married duo since 2022, as per an Instagram post. Aaron Goodwin, an actor and host on Discovery+'s "Ghost Adventures," shares the screen with Zak Bagans.
- Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, Victoria Goodwin admitted that her initial connection with the inmate was made after watching a true-crime documentary, claiming she had no intention of unlawfully harming her husband, Aaron Goodwin.
- Prior to her arrest, Victoria Goodwin had reportedly been conversing with an inmate in Florida, engaging in conversations that involved the solicitation of a third party to commit a murder-for-hire, which she now denies.
- In light of the recent events, Victoria Goodwin's $100,000 creditline has been significantly impacted, with the proceeds from her entertainment career, alongside her husband, potentially at risk due to her legal troubles.
