2022 marked the announcement of Bruce Willis withdrawing from the acting scene due to health concerns. His initial diagnosis was aphasia, which caused speech and communication difficulties. However, a more precise diagnosis came in February 2023 - frontotemporal dementia (FTD). This rare and rapidly progressing brain disease primarily impacts the frontal and temporal lobes, causing a decline in cognitive abilities and behavioral changes.

Married to Emma Heming since 2009, Bruce has two beautiful daughters, aged 13 and 11. Together with his first wife, Demi Moore, he shares three adult daughters - Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. The Willis family's bond stays strong as they often come together for family gatherings and activities.
