Wiesbaden’s Bus Stop C relocates due to Schwalbacher Straße construction

Bus Stop C at Platz der Deutschen Einheit in Wiesbaden will move temporarily from January 19. The change comes as construction on Schwalbacher Straße disrupts traffic flow. Passengers are advised to check the new departure point before boarding.

The temporary relocation shifts Bus Stop C to the central median of Platz der Deutschen Einheit. The adjustment is necessary due to ongoing roadworks on Schwalbacher Straße. The city expects the disruption to last until March 14.

Clear signs, notices, and updated timetable displays will mark the new location. Passengers can also find real-time information online at www.netzplan-wiesbaden.de. The Stadtverkehrsabteilung (city transport department), led by Oberbürgermeister Gert-Uwe Mende, is overseeing the changes. Authorities recommend allowing extra travel time during the first few days. The stop will return to its original position once construction finishes in mid-March.

The relocation aims to keep services running smoothly despite the roadworks. Passengers should plan ahead and use the available resources to dodge delays. The city will restore normal operations once the construction is complete.
