The game began with a bang as Leon Amberg converted the extra point for the first score of the match, a touchdown scored by Anton Goebel. The ball was skillfully distributed throughout the game, with Lenny Turturica finding Justin Schmitt in the end zone for the initial score.

The Phantoms' offense was not the only aspect that shone brightly. Their defense attacked relentlessly, keeping the Razorbacks at bay throughout the game. The head coach, Andy Meyer, rotated players early in the game, allowing for talent development and ensuring that key players remained fresh.

One such talent, Malthe Schmitt, gained valuable playing experience due to these early substitutions. Meanwhile, Steve Reimann, an O-Liner for the Phantoms, played in his 100th game, a testament to his dedication and consistency.
