Kultursommer 2025 in Bergisch Gladbach: A Summer of Free Cultural Events
The city of Bergisch Gladbach is gearing up for an exciting cultural summer, with the Kultursommer 2025 running from August 10 to September 30, 2025. This year-long event promises a total of 31 free events, held both indoors and outdoors, with weather contingencies in place.
The program includes a variety of cultural activities such as music, theater, literature, and art, aiming to showcase the vibrant and diverse cultural life of Bergisch Gladbach. The events are curated by Petra Weymans from the municipal cultural office and involve several partners.
Opening Event
The Kultursommer is officially opened on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 4 PM, with a dance and music performance at the Studio für Tanz und Feldenkrais. The performance, titled "Leise schäumt das Jetzt #2", is choreographed by Britta Lieberknecht and features live music from Eva Zöllner (accordion) and Hannah Weirich (violin).

- On Tuesday, September 30, 7 PM, the concert Amoebapank will take place at Trauerhalle Cemetery, featuring Manuele Klein - Gong & Voice, Christa Liebach - Voice & Guitar, Hans Gressler - Bass & Gong, Detlev Weigand - Synths & Voice.
- On Friday, September 19, 7 PM, the concert "Songs from the garden" by Alexandra Naumann and Bernd Kämmerling will take place at Ratssaal Rathaus Bensberg.
