LIV Golf League 2025 Season Recap

The fourth season of the LIV Golf League concluded in August 2025, with a thrilling display of golfing prowess from some of the world's top players. This season saw a variety of drivers dominating the victories, with Titleist and Ping leading the charge.

Titleist's GT2 and GT3 drivers were the main weapons of choice on the LIV Golf League, rounding out all but two other victories. Sergio Garcia, Patrick Reed, Talor Gooch, and Dean Burmester all tasted success with either a GT2 or GT3 driver. Garcia clinched a victory in Hong Kong with the GT3, while Burmester won twice, once at Bolingbrook Golf Club and LIV Golf Chicago with the GT3.

Dean Burmester wasn't the only multiple winner using the GT3 driver. Talor Gooch also claimed back-to-back victories at Valderrama with the same model. Adrian Meronk kicked off the season with a win in Riyadh using a Titleist GT2 driver, and Marc Leishman secured one victory with a Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond driver.

Ping's G430 LST and G440 LST drivers also had a strong showing, with three wins each. Niemann, who finished second in the individual standings, won two events with the older Ping G430 LST driver and one with the G440 LST. Sebastian Munoz also used the Ping G440 LST driver to win one event.

The Ping-sponsored Torque GC, consisting of Joaquin Niemann, Sebastian Munoz, Carlos Ortiz, and Mito Pereira, had a successful season. They announced an agreement with Ping in April 2025. Meanwhile, Tyrrell Hatton, a member of Legion XIII GC, used the Ping G430 LST driver.

The individual standings for the second consecutive year were dominated by Jon Rahm. Bryson DeChambeau, despite earlier reports, did not win any events with the Krank Formula Fire LD driver in the 2025 LIV Golf season. Patrick Reed, however, clinched a victory in his home event in Dallas with the Titleist GT3 driver.

In a surprising turn of events, the driver brand with the most LIV Golf wins in 2025 has not been explicitly stated in the search results. The LIV Golf Team Championship was secured by Legion XIII GC, who announced a new equipment partnership with Callaway in March 2025.

This season of the LIV Golf League was a testament to the skill and versatility of its players, as they showcased their ability to adapt and excel with a variety of drivers. As the league continues to grow, it will be interesting to see which drivers will dominate the future seasons.
