White House event to be organized by Ivanka Trump, featuring an unorthodox approach
Ivanka Trump, a long-time UFC fan and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, is set to play a pivotal role in organising the first UFC fight to take place on White House grounds. The event is scheduled for July 4, 2026, as part of the United States' 250th anniversary celebrations.
President Donald Trump first teased the idea of a UFC fight on White House grounds last month, and since then, Ivanka has been working closely with UFC CEO Dana White to help plan and execute the fight. However, she will not hold an official job title for the event.
Ivanka's involvement in this unique White House event marks a return to public activity after she previously signalled no direct political role during Donald Trump's second term as president. She told Fox News Digital that she doesn't "plan to be involved in politics".
The UFC fight is expected to attract as many as 25,000 attendees and is "definitely going to happen", according to Dana White. The event reflects a blend of Ivanka's personal passions and a symbolic milestone celebration orchestrated by the Trump administration.
Dana White confirmed Ivanka's role on "CBS Mornings". Despite her earlier distancing from politics, Ivanka has accepted a significant and visible role related to this high-profile White House UFC event.
