Which television channels and streaming platforms are airing the Azerbaijan Grand Prix?

In just a few months, the 2025 Formula 1 season will reach its peak with the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Here's a guide to help you catch all the action, whether you're in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, or elsewhere.

For viewers in Germany, Sky will be broadcasting the entire Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend, with live coverage starting at 11:30 AM German time on Sunday, September 21, 2025. The qualifying session will air at 1:30 PM, and there will be no ad breaks during the race itself. However, ads will be shown between sessions during the qualifying on Sky.

In Austria, ORF 1 will broadcast the training, qualifying, and race live for Austrian viewers. For those who prefer pay-TV, Sky will also be available as an option.

Unfortunately, viewers in Switzerland will not be able to watch the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on TV as SRF will not broadcast the race.

For those who prefer to watch on mobile devices, tablets, or PCs, the streaming platform 'WOW' (formerly 'Sky Ticket') offers a second option. All sessions (free practice, qualifying, and races) of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix can also be watched in the stream via the 'Sky Go' app.

It's important to note that the streaming rights for the Grand Prix of Baku in Germany are held by Sky, while in Austria the rights are shared between Servus TV and ORF. RTL streams some qualifying sessions via Sky signal takeover but does not hold primary streaming rights for the race itself.

For those who wish to watch the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in full length, a subscription to the pay-TV channel Sky is required. Individual breaks with consumer information will be included during the training sessions on Sky. Meanwhile, RTL will broadcast seven events in the 2025 Formula 1 season, including ad breaks.

The broadcast for the training sessions of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix will start 15 minutes before the start, and Sky's coverage will begin 30 minutes before the race.

So, get ready to witness the thrilling races of the 2025 Formula 1 season, and don't miss out on the Azerbaijan Grand Prix! Tune in to Sky, ORF 1, or stream via the 'Sky Go' app or 'WOW' platform to catch all the action.
