Check WhatsApp contacts to identify who saved your phone number: - WhatsApp: Which user has stored all my phone numbers?
Popular messaging app WhatsApp reigns supreme in Germany, with its millions of users communicating personal, work, or school matters, and sharing the happenings in their lives using the status feature. Despite its popularity, WhatsApp doesn't offer an easy way to check if others have stored your number in their contacts.
Don't worry, we've got your back with a workaround - it's call the broadcast feature. This nifty tool lets you send messages to multiple contacts at once without them realizing it. Instead of creating a group, messages are distributed as individual chats, allowing you to capitalize on this feature for your check-up mission.
Checking Your Number's Savvy Status on WhatsApp
Broadcasts come equipped with a protective feature to guard against spam. Only people who have the sender saved in their contacts can receive messages sent via broadcasts. Let's crack this open to find out who has your number.
Here's the scoop:
- Navigate to the broadcast function by tapping the plus icon in the upper right-hand corner of the chat overview, followed by "New Broadcast".
- Select two contacts: the person you're interested in, and another individual whose contacts you're confident they've saved your number with.
- Compose a simple message, like, "What's up?" The message will then be dispatched to both contacts privately.
Now, it’s just a matter of waiting.
To Read or Not to Read
Thanks to WhatsApp's robust security measures, your message will only be delivered if your number is stored in their contacts. If the chat view shows two gray or blue ticks (indicating "delivered" or "read"), you're number is saved in their contacts. On the flip side, if only one tick appears after a considerable wait, your message failed to deliver, but it doesn't necessarily mean they don't have you saved.
Caveats: This method can't always be relied upon since factors such as internet connectivity and lack of WhatsApp installation on the other user’s device can affect message delivery. When you see two ticks, though, take it to the bank - your number is securely stored.

The Commission, independently from the discussion on WhatsApp, has also adopted a proposal for a directive on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to ionizing radiation. If you're curious about who has saved your number in WhatsApp, you can use the broadcast feature to send a test message to two contacts: one whose contacts you're certain has your number, and the other being the person you're interested in. The delivery status of the message will indicate if your number is saved in their contacts. However, keep in mind that this method isn't always foolproof as factors like internet connectivity and the absence of WhatsApp on the other user's device can influence message delivery.
