Background
Knossi's career
Knossi first gained public recognition in 2008 on German Pro7's show "WipeOut - Heul nicht, laufen!". A few years later, in 2011, he emerged victorious in the casting show "PokerStars sucht das PokerAss".
Knossi began participating in poker tournaments and even traveled to Las Vegas a few times. His then-profession as an office clerk opened doors for him, leading him to present on various poker shows, ultimately cementing his national fame.
At this time, Knossi also started appearing on various TV shows, branching out into acting in pseudo-documentaries like "Richter Alexander Hold" and "mieten, kaufen, wohnen".
In 2020, Knossi's profile skyrocketed, with his move to the streaming platform "Twitch". He hosted streams multiple times a week, now the third most-followed Twitch channel in Germany, with a highly successful YouTube channel boasting 1.47 million subscribers.
Knossi gained popularity on Twitch through his alarming streams, which often featured packages containing surprise gifts and disturbing elements like bottles of urine or feces.
Collaborating with talk show hosts like Bushido, Pietro Lombardi, and Sido, Knossi hosted several Twitch events in 2020 and 2021, creating unique camp situations (Christmas camp, fishing camp, horror camp, and medieval camp). Streaming alongside colleagues like UnsympathischTV, Manny Marc, and Sido, Knossi's streaming events thrived.
As a result of his growing popularity, Knossi was asked to host the show "Täglich frisch geröstet" on RTL and RTL+ in 2020-2021. In July 2022, he launched his first game show, "Knossis Kingdom", on Joyn.
Knossi's first song, "Alge", was released in 2020. He also penned a book, "Knossi - King of the Internet: About my rise and success as a streamer", that same year. His fashion brand, "KROWNZ", debuted in 2021.
To date, there have been numerous Knossi songs and performances, mainly on Mallorca, where he often performed at the Mega-Park at Ballermann.
As the sponsor of soccer club SC Baden Baden, Knossi graced the pitch against his streaming colleague Trymacs.

Knossi's controversies
In summer 2020, animal welfare groups raised concerns about the "King of the Internet" during his fishing camp event with Sido, which was live-streamed on Twitch. The allegation of animal cruelty stemmed from catch-and-release fishing practices.
Several critics have also spoken out against Knossi's continued promotion of gambling, which he often showcased on his Twitch streams. However, Knossi clarified his stance on the issue, distancing himself from such activities following the criticism.
