Westminster apartment evacuation sparks late-night fire scare in London

Residents of the Avalon apartment complex in Westminster were evacuated late at night after reports of smoke. The incident led to an investigation by the London Fire Brigade.

The evacuation took place at the Avalon building in the Westminster Promenade area. With concerns over potential fire, some residents sought shelter and warmth in a nearby restaurant while waiting for updates. Firefighters conducted a thorough search of the premises.

The London Fire Brigade completed its checks and found no signs of fire. Residents were permitted back into the building once the investigation wrapped up. No injuries or major disruptions were reported following the incident.
