Westbad's Swimming Achievement Ceremony Today

Residents of Ulm and visitors alike are invited to participate in a special event at the West Bath next summer. On July 6, 2025, the Ulm local group of the German Life Saving Association (DLRG) will be hosting a nationwide swimming badge day. This event aims to promote swimming skills in all age groups and to improve water safety sustainably.

The West Bath will be open for visitors from 2 pm, and the last admission will be at 4:30 pm. However, note that the bath will close temporarily at 5 pm for a central examination of lifesaving instructors by the DLRG. The bath will reopen for general swimming at 5:30 pm, with two swimming lanes available for those who wish to swim.

During the swimming badge day, participants can take part in examinations for bronze, silver, or gold badges, and children can even earn the "Seahorse" early swimming badge. For those who do not pass a badge on their first try, tips and advice will be provided to help improve their swimming skills.

The nationwide swimming badge days are organised by the DLRG, German Swimming Association (DSV), and other partners. If you are looking for more specific details or requirements regarding this event at Ulm's West Bath in 2025, it might be helpful to contact the organisers or management of the West Bath directly or check their official website for any updates. Additionally, local community centres or swimming clubs often organise such events, so reaching out to them could provide the necessary details.

The West Bath will be closed for public swimming on July 5, 2025, in preparation for the event. So, mark your calendars and get ready to improve your swimming skills and promote water safety at Ulm's West Bath next summer!

The West Bath will reopen for general swimming at 5:30 pm, but temporarily closes at 5 pm for a central examination of lifesaving instructors by the DLRG. During the swimming badge day, participants can attempt to earn various swimming badges such as bronze, silver, gold, or the Seahorse for children.
