In the world of entertainment, Sydney Chandler is making a name for herself with her versatile acting skills. The rising star has recently taken on a variety of roles in various genres and platforms, showcasing her talent and versatility.

Sydney Chandler is currently starring in the new Alien prequel series, Alien: Earth, which debuted on Hulu on streaming and FX on cable on Tuesday. In this series, she plays Wendy, the first synthetic being to be given a human consciousness. Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, and several other esteemed actors also feature in the show.

Alex Lawther plays Hermit, Wendy's brother and a medic, while Olyphant takes on the role of Kirsh, a synthetic in charge of training Wendy and a group of soldiers known as "hybrids."

Prior to Alien: Earth, Chandler starred in the FX Network/Hulu miniseries Pistol where she played rock icon Chrissie Hynde. The Pretenders, a group led by Hynde, recorded such classic hits as "Brass in Pocket," "Back on the Chain Gang" and "I'll Stand By You." The Pretenders were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005.

Aside from her roles in Alien: Earth and Pistol, Chandler has appeared in several other films and TV series. In the psychological thriller Don't Worry Darling, directed by Olivia Wilde, she plays the role of Violet, a resident in the idyllic town of Victory, Calif., in the 1950s.

Chandler also stars in the Apple TV+ mystery crime series 'Sugar'. In this show, she plays Olivia Siegel, the focus of the investigation surrounding her disappearance. James Cromwell plays her grandfather, Jonathan Siegel, in the series. Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, Adrian Edmondson, David Rysdahl, Essie Davis, Lily Newmark, Erana James, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Kit Young, Diêm Camille, Moe Bar-El, and Sandra Yi Sencindiver also star in the series.

Chandler's breakthrough role was in a 2022 miniseries where she played a music legend. She made her screen debut in 2016 in the indie comedy The Golden Rut.

With her latest roles in Alien: Earth, Don't Worry Darling, and Sugar, Sydney Chandler is solidifying her place in the entertainment industry and demonstrating her versatility across different genres and platforms.
