Wendy Williams and the Combs twins impress at a LaQuan Smith event
LaQuan Smith's Fashion Show Sizzles with Star Power and Innovative Designs
Last night, New York Fashion Week (NYFW) was ablaze with excitement as LaQuan Smith showcased his latest collection. The event was attended by a host of A-list celebrities, including Wendy Williams, the talk show host who made her return to NYFW rounds after months of seclusion.
Wendy Williams, seated in the front row next to Ice-T and Coco Austin, expressed her admiration for LaQuan Smith's collection. She particularly admired a filmy snake-print dress and a diaphanous pink number that tied in front like a sarong, both unique pieces in the collection. Williams, despite being a Boomer, showed a keen interest in and understanding of modern fashion trends.
The signature catsuit from LaQuan Smith's collection, previously adored by Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Kylie Jenner, came high-necked with a zip-front and accessorized with a tactical knife in a hip holster. Wendy Williams was seen wearing a fluffy black-and-white coat and shirt from the same collection.
The Combs twins, D'Lila and D'Jyah Combs, daughters of Sean "Diddy" Combs, also attended the fashion show. The twins, aspiring to become models, have already walked in the 831 Minhle and Ellaé Lisqué fashion shows. They turned heads in LaQuan's shiny black minidresses, posing in front of a silver Porsche Spyder parked on the runway.
Jessie Combs shared that Naomi Campbell gave them advice to stay confident and do what they love. The twins practice their model strut almost every day and have received tips from their mother, a supermodel, and their aunt Kimora Lee Simmons. The twins have not yet signed with a modeling agency but aim to be covergirls. They stated that it's either you want both or none, expressing their desire to be booked together.
Other notable attendees included Lil' Kim, Ice Spice, Busta Rhymes, Latto, Larsen Thompson, Adam Lambert, Ty Dolla $ign, Valentina Ferrer, Sai De Silva, Amerie, Brooklyn Nikole, Jordyn Woods, Ari Lennox, and the Combs twins' older brother Christian.
Wendy Williams attended the Dennis Basso and Bach Mai presentations earlier in the week without using her wheelchair, demonstrating her resilience and determination. The LaQuan Smith fashion show was another successful event in NYFW, showcasing innovative designs and attracting a star-studded audience.
