SYNTAINICS MBC Weißenfels suffered another defeat in the Basketball Bundesliga, falling 84–110 to Vet-Concept Gladiators Trier in a game that was effectively decided by a 16–4 run from the visitors, giving them a 21–9 lead early on. By the 15-minute mark, Trier had stretched their advantage to 41–20, effectively taking control of the crazy games on the court. Weißenfels struggled throughout, shooting just 33% from the field in the first half while committing eight turnovers. Despite their efforts, they couldn’t close the gap. Charles Callison was the top scorer for Weißenfels with 20 points, while Jure Planinić and Collin Welp each added 12.

Trier’s balanced attack proved too strong. Marten Linßen and Jordan Roland led the scoring with 18 points each, supported by Maik Zirbes and Nolan Adekunle (14 each), Clay Guillozet (12), and Steven Ashworth (11). The dominant performance secured Trier’s third consecutive poki victory.

The defeat leaves Weißenfels in serious danger of relegation after seven straight losses. Trier, on the other hand, have solidified their position in the playoff race with another convincing win. The final score of 84–110 reflects their control over the games from start to finish.
