Photos from Harvey Weinstein's trials have made headlines worldwide. The film producer, who initiated the #MeToo movement, is currently battling allegations of sexual misconduct, with the legal proceedings still underway. Recent footage from a Manhattan court shows a strikingly changed Weinstein.
In 2020 and 2022, Weinstein, now 72, faced charges in New York and Los Angeles, respectively. Known for producing movies like "Pulp Fiction," "Gangs of New York," and "John Rambo," Weinstein previously looked different - better-nourished, beard-clad and occasionally using a walker. However, during the latest court appearance, he appeared visibly thinner and toothless, causing a shock to many spectators.
Initial Verdicts and Appeal
Both trials ended with guilty verdicts, resulting in a 23-year prison sentence in New York and an additional 16 years in Los Angeles. Yet, an appeals court overturned the New York verdict in April 2024 due to procedural errors. In response, the prosecution announced the plans for a retrial in Manhattan, where Weinstein was recently seen in court.
The former producer looked noticeably skinnier, clean-shaven, and had several missing teeth, which brought a stark contrast to his usual appearance. In spite of his transformed look, Weinstein seemed to maintain a positive outlook.
Future Trials
The retrial in Manhattan is scheduled for April 2025. Whether Weinstein can sustain his upbeat attitude throughout the trial remains to be seen. Stay tuned for more updates on this ongoing legal saga.

- Sexual Misconduct
I'm not going to say anything about the other two court cases involving Harvey Weinstein, but it appears that a retrial for his sexual misconduct charges is scheduled for 2025, following the overturning of his previous guilty verdict in 2024. Despite his noticeably changed appearance during his latest court appearance in 2024, Weinstein, the pioneer of the #MeToo movement, maintained a positive outlook.
