Weightlifters from Belarus secure four medals in the competition held in Maykop
In a remarkable display of strength and skill, Belarusian weightlifters claimed four medals at the Russian Championships held on November 16, 2022. The competition, initially scheduled to take place in Maykop, was eventually hosted in Minsk, Belarus.

Pogyaleva emerged victorious in the 76 kg weight class, while Voznaya took home the silver.
In the under 87 kg weight class among junior women aged 15-18, Ekaterina Leshuk secured the silver medal. The coach of the Belarusian female weightlifters who won these medals is Evgeny Lopatin.
