The football season is just around the corner, and fans around the world are eagerly anticipating the return of the Premier League. With a new £6.7bn rights cycle kicking off from the 2025/2026 season, the league has announced its broadcast partners for the upcoming season.

In the UK, Sky Sports and TNT Sports/Discovery+ will continue to bring the excitement to viewers, with Sky Sports increasing its match coverage to a record minimum of 215 games per season. This includes all weekend and midweek matches, plus the final day fixtures.

Across the pond, NBC Universal holds the Premier League broadcast rights in the US. Coverage will be split across NBC, USA Network, and Peacock. Peacock offers extensive coverage, including exclusive matches, all NBC broadcast network games live, and additional content with partnerships including Spanish-language coverage via Telemundo and Universo.

Viewers in Australia can catch every single Premier League game on Stan Sport, while in Brazil, ESPN will be the go-to channel. Fubo will broadcast the games in Canada, and the Caribbean will tune in to ESPN. Costa Rica will have coverage on Fox Broadcasting Corporation and TNT Sports Mexico, and Macau's M Plus holds exclusive regional rights.

M Plus will offer live streaming via its app and 24/7 sports channels through Macau Cable Television, ensuring localized access with English or Cantonese commentary.

The Saturday 3pm 'blackout' remains in place in the UK, which means that no games that kick off at that time can be broadcast live. However, every game at every time will be shown live on TV in most countries around the world.

Sling is a streaming service that allows users to watch cable online, including USA Network, for a starting price of $45.99. For those in Australia, the price to stream all Premier League games on Stan Sport has risen slightly but still offers great value at $32 a month, giving access to all Premier League games, Champions League, FA Cup, and more.

Sky Sports has been broadcasting English top flight matches since the Premier League's inception in 1992, and it continues to be a staple for football fans in the UK. NowTV, a streaming partner of Sky, offers an alternative for those who prefer to stream their football.

As the 2025/2026 Premier League season approaches, fans can rest assured that they will be able to catch all the action, no matter where they are in the world. With a diverse range of broadcasters, including digital platforms like Viaplay, DAZN, and CANAL+, as well as traditional television networks like Sky Sports, TNT Sports, and beIN Sports, there's never been a better time to be a football fan.

In the European leagues, the highly anticipated Premier League season is set to be broadcast on Sky Sports and NowTV in the UK, offering a record minimum of 215 games per season. Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, NBC Universal will continue to air the Premier League in the US, with Peacock offering extensive coverage, including exclusive matches and Spanish-language coverage via Telemundo and Universo.
