As a precaution, an official weather warning was issued for parts of East Westphalia-Lippe from midday until the early evening hours. Even the WarnWetter app developed by DWD emphasized the danger of wind gusts sweeping through the region, with wind speeds projected to reach up to 60 km/h from the southwest until the end of the day.
