Weekend tournament expecting 600 jockeys in horse racing event
The Sukow sports club is set to host the annual Sukow tournament, a traditional celebration of horse riding, from August 15 to 16. The event, which had a successful restart last year, will bring together 600 riders, both professional and amateur, for two days of exciting competitions.
The tournament will kick off on both Saturday and Sunday at 9 AM, offering visitors the opportunity to witness a variety of horse riding events. Show jumping at various levels of difficulty will be a significant part of the tournament, promising an exciting spectacle for all.
Organiser Horst-Werner Jahn has expressed his anticipation for a weekend filled with good competitions, M-show jumping, and a large number of visitors. To cater to the visitors, food and drinks will be available throughout the three days of the tournament.
An emphasis on youth participation is a key feature of the Sukow tournament. Alongside the competitions, a bouncy castle and other surprises are planned for children, ensuring a fun-filled experience for the entire family.
The Sukow tournament is a traditional event that has been a staple in the horse riding community for many years. If you're interested in the detailed schedule, we recommend checking the official event websites, horse riding clubs, or organisers' announcements from that period.
So, mark your calendars for August 15 to 16 and head to Sukow for a weekend of thrilling horse riding competitions. It's an event you won't want to miss!
