Weekend Operations Intensified by BPOLI:

On Sunday, September 14, 2025, two disturbing incidents of violence occurred in Dresden, Germany, causing a stir among locals and authorities alike.

The first incident took place on September 12, 2025, at Wiener Platz, where a 24-year-old German man was found with severe pain in his cheekbone. Witnesses reported that the man was punched in the face by an unknown individual, leaving him in a vulnerable state. The victim was treated by an ambulance on the scene.

A 39-year-old Pakistani man was also found with injuries to his wrist, nose, and lips during the same incident. His current status or condition remains unknown.

The Federal Police Inspectorate Dresden was initially involved in the investigation of these incidents but has since stepped back, leaving the investigation to continue without their involvement.

The second incident occurred on the forecourt of Dresden-Neustadt station on the same day. Witnesses reported a brawl involving several individuals, including an 18-year-old Syrian, an 18-year-old Iraqi, and a 34-year-old Indian. The Syrian and Iraqi suspects were charged with assault, while the Indian suspect is also suspected of attacking a 39-year-old Pakistani victim during the incident.

Another 18-year-old man with Iraqi citizenship turned himself in at the station and confessed to having punched a 24-year-old during the brawl.

Criminal proceedings were initiated against the two young men (aged 18, one Tunisian and one Iraqi) for assault, and a criminal proceeding was initiated against the man for fraudulent use of services and resistance to law enforcement officers, who was identified as a 28-year-old Tunisian man without a valid train ticket.

The men involved in the brawl had previously behaved offensively and increasingly aggressively, according to reports. Witnesses also stated that two people punched and kicked the victim while he was on the ground.

The investigation for the assault at Wiener Platz was taken over by the Saxon Police due to their jurisdiction. The current status or condition of the victims in either incident remains unknown.
