The New Mexico Ice Wolves are ready to take on the Oklahoma Warriors in a highly anticipated three-game series this Friday and Saturday at Outpost Ice Arenas. The Ice Wolves, currently in second place in the South Division, will be looking to extend their winning streak, having won 2 out of 3 games in their season opener against the Amarillo Wranglers.

The puck drops at 6:30 p.m. on both nights, offering fans an exciting opportunity to catch the action live. The Ice Wolves' leading scorer from last season, Andy Earl, has already made his mark in the 2024-25 season, putting up five points, including two goals and three assists, in the team's opening weekend.

In their last meeting (preseason), the Ice Wolves beat the Warriors 7-2, and this regular season encounter promises to be just as thrilling. The Warriors, currently in third place in the South Division, will be eager to turn the tables and secure a victory.

There's more to look forward to than just the game itself. On Friday, the Lobo volleyball team will be special guests at the Ice Wolves game, adding an extra layer of excitement to the evening. College students can also enjoy a free hot chocolate at Friday's game with their student ID's.

Following Saturday's game, fans will have an opportunity to skate with the Ice Wolves players, making for a memorable end to the weekend. Andy Earl, who was recently named the South Division Star of the Week, is sure to be a crowd favourite.

New addition to the Ice Wolves roster, Anton Malyshev, also made an impact in their last game, scoring both goals for the team in Sunday's 2-1 win last week. The Ice Wolves and Warriors have not met in the regular season yet, so this series will be a fresh challenge for both teams.

With the Lone Star Brahmas in first place in the South Division, the Ice Wolves will be determined to climb up the ranks and secure a top spot. The New Mexico Ice Wolves vs. Oklahoma Warriors games are not ones to miss, so mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable weekend of hockey!
