Crystal Palace and West Ham United are set to face off in a highly anticipated Premier League match at 3pm on Saturday. Both teams are coming off a draw in their previous games - Crystal Palace held Sunderland to a goalless stalemate, while West Ham's atmosphere at the London Stadium remains grim following a 5-1 loss to Chelsea and a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham.

Crystal Palace may be without key players Adam Wharton and Ismaila Sarr for the game against West Ham, but the Spanish winger Eliezer Mayenda, who impressed against Sunderland, will be available. The Eagles showed their resilience in a 3-0 victory over Aston Villa in their most recent away fixture.

Meanwhile, in the Bundesliga, Werder Bremen and Freiburg will square off at 2.30pm on Saturday. Werder Bremen have had a mixed bag of results recently, losing 4-1 at Eintracht Frankfurt and winning 4-0 at Borussia Monchengladbach. Niklas Stark was sent off in their last home game against Bayer Leverkusen, but despite being a man down, they managed to earn a draw.

Freiburg, on the other hand, have seen over 3.5 goals in their last two matches and came back from behind to beat Stuttgart 3-1 last weekend.

In League One, Portsmouth demonstrated their quality and character in a 0-0 draw at Southampton, where they restricted the Saints to one shot on target. Huddersfield are expected to win their fifth straight home game of the season against Burton.

Sheffield Wednesday, however, suffered a disappointing 1-0 home defeat against League Two Grimsby in the EFL Cup on Tuesday. Leverkusen sacked manager Erik ten Hag after their game against Werder Bremen.

Thierry Gale is averaging two shots per 90 minutes in League One this season and is priced at 9-1 to be the first goalscorer against Wigan. Yeremy Pino impressed for Crystal Palace in their game against Sunderland and will be hoping to continue his good form against West Ham.

This weekend promises to be an exciting one for football fans, with several intriguing matchups across various leagues. Stay tuned for updates and highlights from these games.
