Grömitz is all set to host an unforgettable event on Friday, 9th August, as Borussia Dortmund, Bundesliga All-Stars, and the Gastro-Kickers face off in a benefit tournament. The tournament, organised by Lübeck Help for children with cancer, promises a day filled with football, entertainment, and a chance to support a worthy cause.

The matches will kick off at 5:30 PM, following the event's admission at 4 PM. The day's schedule includes three exciting matches, culminating in an after-show party featuring Marty Kessler, Marko Abend, and DJ Rüdi.

The participating teams, Borussia Dortmund, Bundesliga All-Stars, and Gastro-Kickers, will each play two 25-minute matches against each other. Borussia Dortmund's roster includes Thomas Helmer, Martin Driller, Lars Müller, and Günter Kutowski, while the Bundesliga All-Stars boast the talents of Timo Schultz, Richard Golz, and Matthias Scherz. The Gastro-Kickers, led by captain Louis Enke, field a strong team with players like Evangelos Panagiotopoulos, Tony and Matthias Böhme, Jenna Baden, and Elard Ostermann.

The event will also feature a shooting competition against BVB stars on Saturday, August 10th, from 12 PM. Each participant will receive a free drink and a photo opportunity with a player as part of the starting fee.

Ulli Potofski will host the event and conduct interviews during the games, ensuring a lively and engaging atmosphere. To add to the fun, there will be a bouncy castle, refreshments, and a tombola with main prizes worth around 15,000 euros.

Since its founding, the Gastro Kickers have donated over 140,000 euros to Lübeck Help for children with cancer. The association's contributions have also funded an additional nurse, a social worker, and a children's gardener, as well as new acquisitions not planned by the university.

Louis Enke, captain of the Gastro-Kickers, was diagnosed with cancer in 2010 at the age of 21. His brother, Mike Enke, expresses hope for many attendees at the event, saying, "We hope that the event will not only be a great day of football but also a significant contribution to our cause."

Every spectator's visit supports Lübeck Help for children with cancer, making this event a unique opportunity to enjoy a day of football while making a difference. So, mark your calendars and join us in Grömitz for an unforgettable day of football and camaraderie!

The sports event in Grömitz on August 9th will not only offer football matches but also a shooting competition against BSV stars the following day.
