Week 25 Premier League Accumulator Analysis and Forecasts
February 14, 2025 Welp, it's back to the Premiership action! The last Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park was a wild ride, filled with controversy, drama, and, of course, red cards. Everton snatched a last-minute equalizer, causing chaos on all sides of the ground, while Liverpool manager Arne Slot saw red—both figuratively and literally.
Here's our latest acca predictions:
Fulham vs Nottingham Forest
Details: Saturday, February 15th, 3.00 pm, Craven Cottage
Fulham's recent 2-1 victory at Newcastle leaves them in 9th place, just four points off the European spots. Marco Silva is doing a bang-up job in West London, and shoutout to Alex Iwobi, who's having a stellar season.
Forest's last Premiership match resulted in a 7-0 thrashing of Brighton. Chris Wood scored a hattrick, proving that these Tricky Trees can really dazzle on the Trent side. They're gunning for Champions League football.
This game pits two teams with European aspirations against each other. But don't rule out Fulham—they're playing at home, and that could be the deciding factor.
Fulham to win @ 23/20
Man City vs Newcastle
Details: Saturday, February 15th, 3.00 pm, Etihad Stadium
Man City's Champions League playoff against Real Madrid didn't go as planned. After taking a 2-1 lead with 10 minutes to go, they caved, allowing two late goals, with Jude Bellingham netting the winner. This isn't the same City side we're used to seeing, and they're vulnerable.
Newcastle's recent cup wins (beating Arsenal in the League Cup) have given them the chance to win their first major trophy since 1969. However, Champions League football remains their primary goal.
City look shaky right now, but Newcastle may have their minds elsewhere. Still, we're going to go with City to edge it.
Man City to win @ 10/11
Tottenham vs Man Utd
Details: Sunday, February 16th, 4.30 pm, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Spurs were knocked out of the FA Cup last week, and their League Cup semi-final defeat to Liverpool wasn't much of a consolation. They're mid-table in the league, out of all domestic cups, and their performances have left a lot to be desired. Ange Postecoglou might need to win Europe's Europa League to save his job.
United progressed in the FA Cup, but they didn't deserve it. They struggled against their opposition and will need to improve if they want to qualify for next season's Champions League.
This one's tough to call, but I'm going for a high-scoring draw with both teams finding the back of the net.
