Wyoming High School Football Roundup: September 18

The high school football season in Wyoming continues to heat up, with several exciting matchups taking place this weekend. Here's a roundup of the latest results and upcoming games.

In the 4A standings, Sheridan remains unbeaten, having defeated Natrona County 34-7 in their last game. The Boars are now 3-0 in the conference and 4-0 overall. They will face Big Horn, Tongue River, and Buffalo next Friday. Big Horn also had a strong outing, defeating Wheatland 59-0, while Buffalo is 1-1 in the 3A East standings.

Meanwhile, in the 3A East, Torrington remains undefeated with a 2-0 record, having won against an unspecified opponent. Buffalo's next game is at home versus Cody, while Tongue River travels to Moorcroft.

In the 2A standings, Lyman and Kemmerer are both 0-1, with Lyman suffering a 22-0 loss to Cokeville and Kemmerer losing to Pinedale 50-15. Worland, also 0-1 in the 2A standings, was defeated by Thermopolis 14-10. Lovell, who is 0-2 overall, lost to Mountain View with a score of 21-12.

In the 9-Man East, Saratoga continues to impress with a 2-0 record. Big Piney defeated Lusk 51-12, and Meeteetse triumphed over Dubois 59-38. Greybull edged out Lingle-Ft. Laramie 28-26, and Wright decimated Wyoming Indian 72-8.

Elsewhere, Pine Bluffs defeated Rocky Mountain 26-14, Burlington won against Kaycee via forfeit (2-0), and Newcastle triumphed over Upton-Sundance 33-7. Glenrock defeated Moorcroft 47-6, and Little Snake River overcame Star Valley Sophomores 60-18.
