After the successful debut of Wednesday, the Netflix original series based on the iconic Addams Family character, fans are eagerly awaiting the return of Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams in Season 2. Not only will Ortega reprise her role, but she will also serve as a producer for the upcoming season.

The second instalment of Wednesday is set to be released in two parts, with Part 1 premiering on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 scheduled for September 3. Filming for the season began in May 2024.

Joining Ortega in Season 2 are a host of guest stars and series regulars. Among them are Thandiwe Newton (Westworld), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Joanna Lumley (Absolutely Fabulous), Frances O'Connor (The Missing), Haley Joel Osment (The Kominsky Method), Heather Matarazzo (The Princess Diaries), and Joonas Suotamo.

Lady Gaga will also make a cameo appearance, adding an extra layer of excitement to the series. Steve Buscemi will also appear as a series regular.

Returning cast members from the first season include Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), and Fred Armisen. Additionally, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, who were previously recurring characters, have been promoted to series regulars.

New cast members joining Wednesday as series regulars are Billie Piper (Scoop), Evie Templeton (Lord of Misrule), Owen Painter (The Handmaid's Tale), and Noah Taylor (Law & Order: Organized Crime).

The second season of Wednesday continues to delve into the darker horror elements that made the first season so intriguing. Tim Burton, who directed the first season, is set to return as director for the second season.
