Heat Waves on the Horizon
While southern Kazakhstan prepares for a refreshing drop in temperatures, northern regions are expected to remain hot, with daytime temperatures around +20...+28 Celsius. The good news? Southern regions might enjoy a slight dip in heat, with temperatures ranging from +27...+35 degrees on June 7.
What about July and August?
Earlier this year, Minister of Ecology, Geology, and Natural Resources, Yerlan Nysanbayev, shared his outlook for Kazakhstan's summer weather. He anticipates temperatures to range from 17-20 degrees Celsius in the north and center, reaching up to 28 degrees in the south and west. The north, south, and southeast may receive slightly above-average rainfall, while August and September are predicted to be drier than usual, with temperatures approximately 1 degree warmer than the average.
