Waterworld Aqua Park Changes Hands: Looping Group Promises Upgrades

Waterworld Aqua Park in Stoke-on-Trent has new owners. The European leisure park group Looping Group acquired the park in a multi-million pound deal, promising upgrades and grand plans for the future.

The park, which also includes Adventure Mini Golf, M Club Spa, and a gym, has seen recent improvements. In 2024, £13 million was spent on behind-the-scenes upgrades to the waterpark. The new owners have promised further enhancements, with significant upgrades to the pool hall installations planned for November.

Waterworld's managing director, Wayne Goodall, expects the new owners to bring experience, quality, and security to the next level. The Water's Edge Restaurant has already benefited, with a recent renovation and a new menu. The park currently offers tickets for £19.99 until November 3, 2025, and the Splash 'N' Safari Ticket, available until February 1, 2026, provides one visit to Waterworld and one visit to West Midlands Safari Park for £35pp.

With its 30 different rides and attractions, including Thunderbolt, the UK's first trap door drop waterslide, Waterworld continues to attract visitors. The acquisition by Looping Group and the promised upgrades ensure an exciting future for the park and its guests.
