Kamensk-Uralsky's Exciting Powerboat Race Showdown!
Get ready, powerboat racing enthusiasts! Kamensk-Uralsky, a city nestled in the heart of Russia, will play host to an exhilarating powerboat race event from June 20 to 22, 2025. This spectacular event will bring together over 70 athletes and enthusiasts from across Russia, as announced by the city's administration.
Competing teams will hail from various regions, including, but not limited to, Sverdlovsk, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Tver, Ulyanovsk, Kemerovo, Perm Krai, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Stavropol, Khakassia Republic, Udmurtia, Bashkortostan, and Tatarstan. Among the participants are well-known champions and masters of sports at the federal level.
The competitions will be a thrilling display of skill and speed, with races held across multiple classes. Classes include GT-30, C-500, T-550 motorboats, OH-500 scooters, P-1500, P-2000, P-2500 gliders, and CH-175, GT-15, JT-250, GT-30 motorboats. Participants will also put their skills on show in these classes.
Races are scheduled to start at noon both days at the "Salyut" water station. If you want to catch the action, spectators can watch for free from either bank of the Iset River.
Recently, Christina Ilyinikh, a resident of Yekaterinburg, clinched gold at the Russian Championship in Diving in Yekaterinburg. Her victory adds to the excitement around Kamensk-Uralsky's upcoming event.
