The Champions League holds a "special charm" for him. Hummels will join Prime Video's established expert team, comprising Matthias Sammer, Christoph Kramer, Tabea Kemme, and Josephine Henning.
Simultaneously, Prime Video declared another personnel change: Jonas Friedrich, who has been commentating on Champions League broadcasts, will launch his television career by hosting the live shows. As a sports journalist, Friedrich has been working with Prime Video since the service's inaugural Champions League season in 2021/22.
