Germany's Moritz Wesemann claimed bronze in the three-meter board event at the European Diving Championships held in Belek, Turkey. The 23-year-old diver from SV Halle had a rocky start, trailing the competition after the preliminary round.

Despite a mishap or two, Wesemann delivered a spectacular 4.5 forward somersault on the penultimate dive, coming close to snatching the gold. However, Poland's Andrzej Rzeszutek (431.25 points) and Britain's Noah Penman (429.70 points) emerged as the top two, leaving Wesemann with third place and a score of 426.85 points.

"I executed three stunning dives, one outstanding, and two that went slightly awry - that's where I missed the gold. All in all, I am immensely pleased with my performance at the Championships," shared an enthusiastic Wesemann after his bronze win.

The European Championships in Belek saw intense competition among divers. Interestingly, the British team secured a bronze medal in the event, suggesting that Wesemann's performance could have been good enough to rank higher in the standings.
