Warriors Sign Seth Curry for 2025-26 Season, Reuniting Brothers on Court

The Golden State Warriors have bolstered their roster for the 2025-26 season with the signing of Seth Curry. The sharpshooter, known for his accurate three-point shooting, will join his brother Stephen Curry in the team. This comes just hours after the Warriors resolved a contract issue with Jonathan Kuminga.

Seth Curry, who went undrafted in 2013, originally signed with the Warriors. Now, 11 years later, he returns to the team that gave him his first NBA chance. Curry has proven himself a reliable shooter, averaging 43.3% from the three-point line on four attempts per game throughout his career. He brings a consistent scoring threat off the bench.

Curry's addition to the Warriors is timely, as they prepare to face the Los Angeles Lakers in their season opener on Oct. 21. Coach Steve Kerr will have the brothers Curry on the court together for the first time in their careers. Curry's signing also signals the resolution of Kuminga's contract situation, with the Warriors re-signing him to a two-year deal.

Seth Curry's one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors adds depth to the team's backcourt. His proven three-point shooting and experience with nine different teams bring valuable assets to the squad. Fans can look forward to seeing the Curry brothers play together as the Warriors kick off their 2025-26 season against the Lakers.
