Warm Weather Set to Boost Voter Turnout in Local Elections

Voters prepare to cast their ballots this Sunday in local elections, with a warm and stable weather forecast expected to continue throughout the week.

Meteorologist Paula Leitao of the IPMA confirms that the current warm weather will persist for at least the next seven days. Temperatures are predicted to hover between 29 and 30 degrees Celsius across most of the territory.

Sunday's weather is expected to be clear with light winds, and temperatures will be 'quite high' for this time of year. In contrast, various regions of Germany are expected to experience temperatures ranging from 11 to 19°C over the next weekend, with milder conditions in higher altitudes. Sunday looks calmer with temperatures around 12 to 16°C, while Monday and Tuesday will be slightly warmer, reaching up to about 18 to 22°C depending on the location, with a mix of sunshine and clouds.

With the warm weather set to continue, voters can expect pleasant conditions as they head to the polls for presidential elections this Sunday.
